With people hating Crosby so much, they're really gonna hate the Pens with Ruutu there.

Thrill is right, the pens are gonna be the most hated team in hockey, but good signing the them though.

Exactly, what I was thinking.

Dammit. The team is improving but rapidly getting softer. We've lost Brookbank, Jovo, and now Ruutu. We need to sign a heavyweight quick.

glad to see him go East so we don't have to deal with him.

Ruutu is such a joke. Starting stuff with every Duck he could but when Fedoruk came over and grabbed him he pleaded to the refs that he did not want to be in a fight.

oh but they could still sign him?
or hes gone gone
yeah the nucks still have sean brown for some toughness but your right they defently need a tough guy .. mabe bring back brashear.. he did play his best hockey in vancouver. dave Nonnis said that the canucks wear going to become more of a defensive minded team so mabe a enforcer who is defensive minded or an accual Defenceman enforcer like Cairns or Erskin.
but they need to make a moove quick.

yeah your right at least we dont have to play agaisnt him .. haha

Well I don't really see Brookbank coming back to Vancouver. I honestly don't see him coming back to the NHL. As for Sean Brown, he is a UFA too, but he has a better chance than BB of being signed in Vancouver. I think that Erskine may be the best option for us, but I'd really settle for anyone. Considering the massive holes we have on forward, I sure wouldn't be opposed to one of them being held by an enforcer.

Cairns is under contract with the Pens for next season.
