He should have been the Koci-Forsberg rotation...It would have kept his foot better and he could just be on the PP and end of game tying goals situations or shootouts.

I think he still had the hunger to play. So he tried one more time, instead of regretting trying and thinking about what if?. So I don't blame him. At least he can live his life convinced that his playing days is officially over. Without any regrets of not trying one last time.

Here's some nice listening while thinking of Peter Forsrberg. A lil' Tom Petty never hurt anyone, post retirement....

He goes thru hollahoops coming back and then retires after only a few games ? So many questions but so little answers, I'd rather just forget he even tried to come back! Good luck Peter

Are you by chance related to buchockey?

Two games is just ridicilous.
My guess is - he felt he couldn't keep it up with the game anymore. It has to be more than the foot, considering he's been in training for some time.

Im a huge Forsberg fan, but I really wish he didnt do this comeback.

All the best to you and I hope you come back to the game in a different capacity. Not as a player.

Don´t really think that the comparison to Favre is fair.
Pete has never retired until now, however...if he tries for a comeback next year...fire away.

Eh.

Thanks for wasting a roster move in my fantasy league, Peter. You ****ing slut. Can't believe I dropped Elias for you.

Why the hell did he come back then? Did'nt he notice something in practice? If it was bad enough(whatever it was)to make him quit after 2 games it surely must have been there during his pre-return routine. Dumb.

Forsberg has never announced a retirement before so this will be the end!
It's pretty stupid to think he came back for the money. He just loved playing hockey and didn't want too quit because of his foot.

Good lock Foppa and thank you for all the highlights you have given us fans here in Sweden!!
