Why wouldnt we? Veilleux has a shot at the 4th line along with Joe Vitale.

Roster is pretty much set other then a few spots, and I really just cant wait for the season to start.

And Asham? They would'nt all be up at the same time let alone the same game. Not counting a guy like Adams, that would be 4 fighters at the same time with Asham being the "weakest link". Somebody would'nt see much ice time unless its in the minors. I would be very happy to be proven wrong though.

Vellieux has done just about all he can do in the AHL, he is ready for the NHL. Same goes for Vitale. They need to be up here, and this was one of the reasons I didnt want Adams back, because I wanted to see what the kids could do.

Asham hasnt been able to stay healthy, plus no Sid, Sullivan has a bad back, and you gotta figure Cooke will do something stupid again. I think all of them will see good amounts of time. We just never make it through a season without our team looking like an episode of MASH.

True. Will gladly be wrong in this one.

You had better hope the Pens have a bunch of injuries again, because that is the only way either of them will see one second in the NHL this season. I want to see these kids up here as much as anyone, but the fact of the matter is there are virtually no open spots on the team, especially if they intend to keep MacIntyre up here most of the season. Not only that, you would figure Richard Park will be one of the first call-ups if someone does get hurt. The Pens are trying to win the Stanley Cup, and they feel having a veteran team is the best way to get there. I really can't argue with that.

Nor can I and I know they will have a ton of injuries yet again. It happens every year, and as they say the opening day roster is the first day of a working 8 month roster. Those boys will be up here.

He will drop the mitts, but he reminds me more of a Rob Scuderi type except he has way more skill. Bortuzzo is actually one of our top D prospects and a guy who should be here within the next year.

Bortuzzo isnt in camp right now because he suffered an injury in the rookie tournament. I think it was his shoulder. Havent seen a timetable on his return either.
