Mathers would get killed. He's too young and is not at the NHL level yet.

I hope they do fight so Steve McKenna, opps i mean Big Mac... could actually get a NHL fight under his belt this year.
Come on McKenna was horrible....Can't deny that he hasn't done much this year...Not sure if he's avoided.Doesn't push the issue(act like a true enforcer),or a little bit of both....I know Ive been one of his critics for his inactivity this year...I mean how couldn't he get a fight against the Sens with Carkner,Neil, and Konopka in the line up??But he's been pretty good in the past.So I don't see how he wouldn't fair well against Shelley....

well it depends how the fight starts, if its a bunch of cheap stuff goin on that leads up to it yea they will prolly get 10's, but if they have a mutual agreemant to fight they should be fine haha

each team can only scratch so many guys as each team is allowed 4 recalls after the trade deadline that aren't emergency recalls. so unless both teams have 4 healthy guys sitting in the press box, most everyone will play for both teams.

plus both ahl teams are in tight playoff races and the flyers and pens wouldn't kill those hopes just for this game

Maybe flyers are sitting Jagr just for some rest before the playoffs...Since philly has to submit there lineup first it will dictate how the game will go and if Mac plays

they can't rest jagr for the sake of resting him...he has to be injured in order to be replaced by a phantom player plus see post above yours

Hopefully MacIntyre actually throws down or at least does more than just issue pointless challenges tomorrow.

I think Shelley will go with him though. I can't think of a time where he's ever backed down.

Shelley needs to play regardless if Mac plays. Simmonds still injured so not looking for to much with him. DE and Asham, Rinaldo cant hang with either of them. So whos left. Its a shame Grossman and Kurbina (sp)? Are both big for nothing. I think the reffs will put there foot on the throat of most of the players. Would love an explosion in this game but my gut says its not gonna happen. Hope im wrong. I think Shelley will hold his own. Then what?

Bylsma is no doubt fed up with all the b*tching that's been going on about the Pens to the media. I saw this move coming. I wouldn't be surprised to see Crosby and Malkin sit out tomorrow as this game really means nothing for either team. Johnson will likely be in net. No need for Fleury to play tomorrow.
