"Bailing" on a fight that he was in no danger of losing?

Now Flyers/Pens will mean nothing for the standings Saturday. I am honestly expecting both teams to pack it in and play not to get hurt or suspended. I predict one average fight...

If Chara was in no danger of losing, why did he go for the immediate takedown?

It's not worth re-hatching this old argument, but I don't really consider that an immediate takedown. Shelley had a chance to get something going and he didn't, no other captain or star player accepts Shelley's challenge there.....so I'm not on board with the Chara criticism on this one.

Chara did? Fight was clear draw where neither one manage to do damage and it was clearly Chara who wanted to end that fight. End of story.
