Word is Goligoski is indeed injured and Engelland is taking his spot in the line-up. So add that to the list of CRAP! Go-Go, Kennedy, Gonchar, Malkin, Talbot all out...

Well, that's just great. The Pens are a frickin' MASH unit right now. I say the Sharks win 7-1 tonight.

The bottom of the heap, here comes the Pens!

The Sharks D is suffering just as badly right now and only Murray, Vlasic, and Boyle are their vetern dmen. I think it will be a tight game and maybe a fight or 2.

The guy did hurt his arm but that doesn't mean it was not a TKO. This fight won best AHL TKO on this board two seasons ago.

I don't think arm injury made the guy fall down.

Hmm, looks like Engelland never landed anything until Mcleod was on the way down. I suppose Mcleod bailed when his arm was injured. I don't see what happened to his arm.

Well, that is the best "announced TKO" I have seen. Stupid replay.

Scott Stuzio(sp) is the announcer, and he is a ball of fire.. I for one would've liked to see Brookbank called up.

Naturally, in Bylsma's aura of genius, Engelland is scratched tonight.

Well Goligoski felt better right before game time and that factored into his descion. Also dosen't look like Engelland will be up long because of the Letang injury, which may cost him the season, Ben Lovejoy is expected to be called up in favor of playing for a long period of time for Letang.

Engelland may still stay up because Goligoski is still battling the flu.

"With Kris Letang headed to Pittsburgh to be evaluated while the rest of his teammates head to Boston, it seems likely that Deryk Engelland will make his NHL debut Tuesday night against the Bruins on Versus. His story is a pretty remarkable one. Before Engelland came to the Penguins, he was basically a tough guy who bounced between AHL and ECHL, even playing a little wing here and there, and there was no reason to see him as any kind of a prospect. The Penguins used him in a stay-at-home D role and he flourished. 422 games into his pro career -- 148 in the ECHL and 278 in the AHL -- he finally reaches his goal.

I'm mentioning this now because once a guy gets thrown into the NHL lineup, there's no time for sentimentality. After Tuesday, Engelland will be judged by his performance, and that's the way it should be. Now's the time to reflect on the storybook nature of it all."

It's been confirmed - Engelland will make his NHL debut tonight. We may be low on talent right now, but the Pens will be putting a tough lineup out there tonight.

Hopefully he will play well and the coaches will send Skoula to the unemployment line!

Although I hate Pittsburgh, most of there fans and almost all of there players I will be cheering for them tonight. Damn I hope he does well and makes a case for himself to be kept around for a while or good. Nice to see this is going to finally happen for him, just called the boss and told him I am leaving early to watch this game.
