CPZ ruined any chance he had here with his work ethic. Tough to believe he was once considered a good prospect. Then his wife went on that Twitter rant.

I don't understand why Valabik cannot land a job. He's a huge guy on defense.

His wife went onto Twitter and criticized the Pens for not giving him more opportunities to play in the AHL...He was recalled to WBS and then a few hours later was loaned to the Cinncinati Cylones of the ECHL who isn't affiliated with the Pens....

Then went out of her way to delete he tweets and say someone "hacked" her Twitter. In all fairness Carey wasn't doing himself any favors either throwing temper tandrums when he was told he was being demoted because he wasn't doing what they team asked him.

So much talent, yet so lazy. Kyle Wellwood has nothing on him.

He's not too bad. He was having a pretty good season in Atlanta a couple years back til he broke his leg. It seems like when he is doing good he ends up hurting his leg.

It amazes me how he was able to stay up in the NHL for as long as he did when he was with Atlanta a few years ago.
I watched him play in Providence more recently than that and he was just plain bad.

He does a pretty good job of clearing the crease area, but his mobility is an issue, Big Z he isn't, he might be slower than Hal Gill. But he's a willing fighter and shot blocker and good on the PK. A good 6th-7th dman when fully capable.

Thank God they didn't qualify Picard...dude sucks out loud. And I guess Cal O'Reilly wasn't the "savior" that the Pens' website portrayed him as when they claimed him off waivers.
