Way to go Pittsburgh! They are not effing around this season.
Also good for the fantasy PIM league:approve: |
I would expect Thorburn to get some decent playing time in Pittsburgh, and nice to see the Pens pick up a little more grit. Of all the guys placed on waivers yesterday I thought Marshall might go first.

Way to go Pittsburgh, they are going to be fun to watch this year.
|
jeez where are they going to play this guy?
|
In Andre Roy's spot.

**** that hopefully in Oullet's spot. |

Rumor going around that Buffalo sent a player down after this news and are looking to claim someone...hmmmm. |
Staal will most likely be the 2nd line center untill Crosby gets back. lines looking something like this right now
Eckman-Crosby-Armstrong Recchi-Staal-Malone Leclair-Moore-Ruutu Roy-Stewart-Oullet I've gotta think that Thorburn would take Oullet's spot. Staal will be sent back to juniors. When Malkin is healthy. |
waiver draft could be fun this year. Some good players.

you are correct that I ment Malkin
If Stall is going to be playing on the 3rd line then that would most likely mean the lines would look more like Eckman-Crosby-Armstrong Leclair-Malone-Recchi Staal-Moore-Ruutu Roy-Stewart-Oullet Either way Oullet just doesn't belong. |
thorburn will be a nice fit on the fourth line. he's a gritty guy who loves to muck it up. pretty decent skills. he should fit on that line nicely.
