Gill, 32, is in his 10th NHL season and has posted 20 points (two goals, 18 assists) in 63 games with Toronto this season. Awesome

Gill is good at some things, but he's a really bad fit for Toronto. He'll probably do okay with a quicker team in Pittsburgh. I like the return in this one.

Cool....Darian Hatcher isn't the slowest defenceman in the Atlantic Division any more. Well...it would be an interesting race. About as exciting as watching paint dry. Actually...I think I'd take the paint.

Damn that much for Hal effing Gill? I'm kinda suprised, I guess I didn't think the pens really needed him.

Fletcher's doing pretty good dumping the salaries he's able to move.

Although I'm not sold on the Belak trade, this was a good one for them, and it sheds a good chunk of salary. Gill should do well in Pittsburgh.
