Panthers Recall Drew Shore

SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers Executive VP & General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that C Drew Shore has been recalled from the San Antonio Rampage (AHL).

Shore, 22, earns his second recall of the season after playing in the AHL All-Star Game in Providence, RI Monday night. The center recorded a goal and an assist in the Western Conference's 7-6 victory. The Denver, CO native, made his NHL debut on Monday, Jan. 24 in Montreal and has played in three NHL games, registering eight shots on net and two PIM while averaging 12:21 TOI and winning 62.5% of his draws (10-of-16).

The 6-foot-3, 190-pound forward also sits second on the Rampage with 30 points (10-20-30) in 41 games in his first professional season following three campaigns at the University of Denver. Shore totaled 118 points (50-68-118) and 101 PIM in 123 games, leading Denver in scoring in each of the two seasons prior to turning pro. Shore was selected in the second round (44th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft by the Panthers.
