No Deveaux or Jacques, just their ELC players, nothing new. Except the lockout is going to suck for Huberdeau.

Actually, those two were already placed on waivers earlier today so they could play in the AHL.

But they have to clear because they're not on ELC's so they can't be assigned just yet. Hope one gets picked up though, no way they'll both get any NHL time this year.

I think it'll be good for him. He still needs to add some muscle to his weak frame if he wants to play with the big men.

It's probably considered a dick move to pick someone up on waivers in a situation like this.

Exactly, 26. I highly doubt any of the guys that have to clear would get picked up. Mainly because every team has to do it and karma can bite back hard.

There's no doubt it happens sometimes, but like BJ said, that's karma you don't wanna mess with. It's a surefire way to get a reputation and ruin relationships with other GMs. Even if it technically isn't against the rules.

If I'm Columbus, I'll pick up as many players as I can (again).

What's karma gonna do, make them finish in last place again?

Just what they need, more AHL players.
