Oilers Place Sheldon Souray on IR
The Edmonton Oilers have placed defenceman Sheldon Souray on the NHL Injured Reserve List with a left shoulder injury.
Souray was placed on the NHL Injured Reserve List after aggravating his shoulder in the Oilers' January 24th game against the Florida Panthers. He played 7:26 against the Panthers before leaving the game following the first period. The Edmonton defenceman also missed the Oilers' game versus the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday, January 29th. Souray has missed a total of 27 games due to the injury this season. He originally suffered a second degree sprain of his left shoulder in the Oilers' game at Vancouver on October 13th. Souray has scored 3-7-10 with 59 penalty minutes in 26 games with the Oilers this season. |

Poor Oil cant catch a break (not like I want them to
Souray just cant stay healthy with that shoulder since his scrap early in the year.
