Oilers Assign Schremp and Roy to Springfield
The Edmonton Oilers have assigned defenceman Mathieu Roy and left winger Rob Schremp to the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.

With the two player assignments the Edmonton roster is set for the Oilers season opener against the Colorado Avalanche on Sunday, October 12th at Rexall Place.

Schremp is a great talent, but you have to wonder what's keeping him from the bigs. He dominated the junior ranks.
