Oilers Assign Five to AHL

The Edmonton Oilers have assigned five players to their American Hockey League affiliates.

Three players - centre Marc Pouliot and defencemen Tom Gilbert and Bryan Young - were assigned to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. The trio joins Rob Schremp, who was assigned to the Penguins on April 7th, for the final week of the AHL regular season and the Calder Cup playoffs.

Defenceman Dan Syvret was assigned to the Grand Rapids Griffins and left wing Zack Stortini was assigned to the Hamilton Bulldogs.
