Oilers Activate Zack Stortini From IR

General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have activated forward Zack Stortini from the NHL Injured Reserve List.

Stortini missed the Oilers last six games (January 11-20) after suffering a lower body injury in the Oilers’ January 9th game versus San Jose. The 6’3”, 228 pound right winger has scored a goal and two assists in 28 games this season and leads the Oilers with 111 penalty minutes.

I'm guessing he's still going to miss tonight's game?

That looked bad when he fell. I figured broken bones at the minimum. It'll be good to see old rubber legs back, he adds energy. (except when he fights) haha

He's been having good fights for the past month or two. Stopped hugging.

Hopefully the injury does'nt stop or slow down his improvements as a fighter.

I'm glad to see Stortini's back. I thought he did some major damage to his knee when the injury occured. Storts had been improving (fightwise) before the injury. Hopefully that continues now that he's back.
