Rangers... According to Renaud Lavoie, the Rangers have placed Sean Collins, Michael Haley, Chad Kolarik, Kris Newbury, Logan Pyett, Brendon Segal, Mike Vernace and Tommy Grant on waivers.

All of those players had been playing with the Whale in the first half of the season.

again...any player who signed an ahl contract to play during the lockout, has to go thru waivers in order to continue playing in the ahl after friday.

My post had nothing to do with that. I know he has to be put on waivers to be sent back down. It was a general question about Aliu himself.
