No Suspension for Alex Burrows
VANCOUVER – National Hockey League Senior Vice President of Hockey Operations Mike Murphy today announced that there will be no supplemental discipline on Vancouver Canucks forward Alex Burrows.

"After reviewing the incident, including speaking with the on-ice officials, I can find no conclusive evidence that Alex Burrows intentionally bit the finger of Patrice Bergeron."

At the same time though......

Hopefully something comes of this. If not, then both teams have acted like puss1es.

Shoulda fined him a good chunk. Glad there wasn't a suspension though, as pathetic and despicable as the act was, it didn't put Bergeron at great risk and shouldn't warrant a SCF's game lost.

I'm liking the post-Campbell era already.

Who cares, if the Bruins are getting smoked someone just smash their stick over his head. I really have no idea how teams can stand for this type of crap.

Definitely a pathetic move by Burrows.

All of us would hope for retribution against Burrows with fisticuffs. But, that's not gonna happen because players are just too darn scared to take their gloves off in the playoffs. It's actually quite embarrassing to see these players face wash each other for a minute during scrums.

And you know that Burrows would'nt drop the mitts anyway. He is the only guy who deserves a kneecapping as much as Cooke.
