Nashville Predators Sign Josh Gratton

http://predators.nhl.com/team/app/?s...ticleid=368118

Great pickup for Nashville if they actually keep him up all season. I would hate to see him get stuck in Milwaukee.

Good replacment for Hordichuk. Not a top 10 but I still think he can do the job as a heavyweight and good enforcer.
Both guys can play imo, fight an open wild style.
Good signing.

Perfect replacement for Hordi.

No surprise, but it's a two-way deal.

Awesome signing! Great to see Josh Gratton back, and let's hope that he stays in the NHL for the whole year! He is indeed a PERFECT replacement for Hordi, as they are pretty much the same fighter. On the smaller side and not top 10 guys, but they have good chins and swing wildly with an open toe-to-toe style.

Good thing Triston Grant won't be handling the enforcer job in Nashville. Gratton is a much better option, and thank God Nashville picked him up because this will finally give King someone to fight within the division since Columbus and Detroit have nobody!

And speaking of King, I cannot WAIT to see him and Gratton drop the gloves next year. Those will be some exciting toe-to-toe because they both sure as hell know how to take a punch and throw one...

D.J. King:

And Josh Gratton:

After watching those fights, all you can really say is "WOW".

We should see a few great fights next year. How can you not like Gratton? He may not be the best fighter but he's always willing and will stand there and go toe-to-toe while taking some absolute bombs. He's exciting to watch, so good pickup for Nashville and it will be good to see him back in the NHL (if the Preds keep him there, which they HAVE to with no other enforcer). After hearing that it's a two-way deal I'm a little worried, but if the Preds have any common sense he won't even see the AHL. They have to know that they need somebody to replace Hordi, right? Let's hope so.

I just checked out of curiosity and Gratton scored 12 points in 20 games with Hartford last year, had 7 fights, and was a +9. That's actually pretty impressive. He wasn't productive at all offensively with the Yotes, but perhaps he can develop into a guy who can chip in 15 or so points.

Awesome pickup by Nashville. He would fill the hole left by Hordichuk's departure perfectly. They just need to keep him up in the NHL.

Can't wait to see him get his ass kicked by a blackhawk, hopefully Matt Walker.

So after researching this guy a bit, I'm pretty excited. I agree, great replacement for Hordi.

Whoa, nice vids! Great to see Josh will have a shot at the NHL again. I wish it would've been as a Ranger but oh well, glad he's back. Damn, the west is gonna be great.

Great pickup.

All they have to do now, is have him play in the show...
