Clearly got this job because of his ties to the Wild, but mostly the Pens. I wouldnt say he is qualified and I am not gonna say he isnt a good coach or even the best choice but Todd Richards wasnt anything special and I dont think Mike will succed there either.

Hope I am wrong though!

There goes the Wild's power play,or whatever power play they might have had.I liked Mike during his time with the Pens, but I have to agree with TPK.Not sure if this is the best choice or if he will succeed.Hopefully we are both wrong because he was a seemingly good guy...Time will tell.

As long as it isn't Ken Hitchcock I guess it's a good hire.

They will play a clog up defense around the net...

Think Omaha in the A a few years backs...

As long as Yeo brings a tough lineup on a nightly basis and holds players accountable, I'm all for it.

I was hoping for MacT because I know he'll hold guys accountable and get the best out of them.

Yeo has a huge job on his hands. Thankfully, he knows what to do with very little offensive talent, as he was able to get a bunch of plugs in Houston to the Calder Cup finals... but, Houston is a long way away from the X.

Does he like to dress a tough line up?
