So they missed the kick in the head by Korpikoski or what about Belanger swinging the stick at Beauchemin's head?
Brown hit Jovanovski, that's his job. Don't like it? Don't extend yourself reaching for the puck, leaving yourself in a vulnerable position when Mike Brown is on the ice. He's going to hit you and he's probably going to hit you hard. |

That's it. Keep your ****ing skates on the ice, intentional or not. You can't throw your feet up like that to defend yourself it has a blade on it. He barely missed his throat, a play like that can kill someone.
I read the other thread about this play aswell. MacArthur got drilled by Yandle the shift before and Fiddler started giving it to Grabovski at the end of this shift. To make it worse Korpikoski comes in and throws him in a headlock, needless to say he'd had enough. If you don't want to get involved... keep your hands to yourself. If you don't want people to rough up your non-fighters, leave that team's non-fighters alone. |

As for Brown's hit, I don't think he should be suspended either. Leafs fans nailed this one, Jovo was reaching for the puck as Brown was eliminating the man from the puck. |

I don't think Brown should be suspended but I think it's pretty clear why he will be suspended. Like it or not the league is determined to get rid of headshots, so when a 3rd/4th liner like Brown hits somebodies head the league is going to use it to send a message even if it wasn't a blatant attempt to injure.

Bull**** suspension. I hope Burke and Wilson both stick up for Brown in the media.
