*In other news, center Matt Hendricks will be on the ice with the Capitals on a pro-tryout tomorrow. Hendricks played with Hershey in 2006-07 and most recently was a member of the Colorado Avalanche organization.

It'd be nice to see the Caps give him a good look and maybe a shot this year. I know they're loaded, but what they can always use more of is toughness.

I loved him in an Avs uniform, it's sucks to see him go else where. He works hard, plays hard, plays tough, skates well and fills the role of 4th line center perfectly.

On the Cap's website it says they gave him Belanger's tryout spot so he could make the team as our 3rd line center. I like the idea of having a crash and bang line with King-Hendricks-Bradley that would be a fun line to watch.

I think Gordon will be a healthy scratch for most of the year, he'll most likely get put in King's spot when we play weaker teams with no HW.
