Doan could held up for sure there. Not saying Doan deserve suspension but watch and watch it again he looks and sees him yes that true! Plenty of time for Doan to hold up when Lewis did look down at the puck. And what Lewis not allowed to look away from the play or just sit there and go dugh what I do. No he tried to make a play like he should if Doan wants level him then he gets the penalty like he did

i would agree with you if this did happen 10,000 times in a season. had Smith hit Brown with the paddle portion of his stick, no problem. that happens 10,000 times a season. Smith deliberately took a hack at Brown with the blade portion of his stick, when Brown was not even near his crease. he went out of his way to hit him. that is intent to injure. that is not seen in hockey many times, where as a goalie hitting a player with the paddle of his stick is. there is a difference in the way Smith swung at Brown than what we have come to know as normal from a goalie.

2 games sounds about right. Smiths "slash" is not worth of discussion sorry, should of been an on ice penalty though. Brown played that one out better than most hollywood actors could of.
