Maple Leafs Reassign Eight Players; Recall Kyle Rogers

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Monday that seven players have been assigned to the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League. Forwards Bates Battaglia, Andre Deveaux, Alex Foster, Kris Newbury, Ben Ondrus, and defencemen Josef Boumedienne and Jaime Sifers have all been assigned to the Maple Leafs’ primary affiliate.

In addition, the Maple Leafs have recalled forward Kyle Rogers from the Marlies and returned centreman Chris DiDomenico (DEE-DOH-menacoh) to the QMJHL’s Saint John Sea Dogs.

No big deal really, he's more of a value to the Marlies then the Leafs anyways, and when injuries happen he'll probably be the first one called up as usual.
