Maple Leafs' Mikhail Grabovski to Have Disciplinary Hearing
Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mikhail Grabovski faces a hearing with the Department of Player Safety on Sunday afternoon for an incident in Toronto's 6-0 victory against the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday night.
The hearing, initially scheduled for Sunday afternoon, has been rescheduled to Monday morning. Grabovski received a 10-minute misconduct and a roughing minor for an incident during a scrum at the 11:30 mark of the third period. Grabovski was tangled up with Montreal Canadiens forward Max Pacioretty during the incident in question. Pacioretty was also issued a 10-minute misconduct on the play. I have zero tolerance for biting. Wonder how many game Shanny will give.

Milbury and Jones just said during the intermission that even if he did bite him they don't blame Grabovski. Milbury said if a guy smothered his face like that, he would need some floss to clean out his teeth.

This question has overloaded my sense of irony based on who asked it.

Let me see if I have this right.
You are playing in one of the most emotional games of this short hockey season against your most bitter rival. You are near the boards and involved in an all out scrum, with players from both teams pushing, shoving, grabbing, and holding on so they or their teammates don’t get clocked. Suddenly, you are grabbed from behind by someone who puts their arm across you face and tries to pry backwards from where you are fighting to stand as it is. Your hands come up to get the hand from your face as you are pulled backwards. In order to try and get free in this chaos, you bite the hand or arm of the person pulling you backwards. Do I condone what he did, no. Do I condemn what he did no. He did what he thought necessary at the time under extreme circumstances. Perhaps Shakespeare said it best: Much Ado About Nothing.

I don't condone biting but Pacioretty was in the wrong every bit as much as Grabovski was. He was already going at it with Brandon Prust (who I'm pretty sure can handle himself without Max ****ing Pacioretty stepping in) when somebody grabs him from behind with their arm over his mouth and starts yanking his head back.
