That blows for the isles. Curious to see how many players stay with the khl. I know ovechkin was threatening to stay for good

Yea but I didn't think he would play for them anyway, he tried to get out of the trade once already. You could almost see it coming that he would pull some kind of **** like this when he went over there, he never wanted to play for the Islanders.

I have a feeling there are going to be more doing the same. I'm betting there are quite a few guys mulling it over right now.

Ovaries was on the first flight back to DC when news broke.

He was never going to stay in Russia.

Sucks for the Islanders. They could have really used Lubo on the blue line.

He knows the khl & NHL have an agreement. So this is just his way of saying "TRADE ME RIGHT FUKKIN NOW" and then hang up.
