Are they on game- by- game basis? What happens if/ when the lockout ends? What if they get injured?

some contracts are month to month, all have out-clauses to come back to north america when lockout ends.

Would the NHL team have any recourse if a player suffered a season ending ( or worse) injury while technically under contract but playing in Europe?

the part about the "crosby offer" is that the khl is allowing 2 players to come per team...he would make #3.

Crosby>>> 2 player rule. Im sure the KHL would bend rules to allow Crosby to join. Not many other teams have Malkin to help lure him in anyways. Its also the KHL, the most crooked league out there and do you honest think they are going to follow their stupid rules and blow a chance at nabbing the most popular hockey player in the world. Do you even think before instigating stuff lol. Also, I think that rule is meant for non Soviet born players, Gonchar and Malkin are both Russian.

Also the offer is legit, so your argument is invalid anyways as the KHL would of voided it already.

Any of those teams would LOVE to get Crosby. I hope Mario advises him not to go unless an enforcer is riding shotgun.

i wasn't instigating anything guy...how i read the what the khl said was 2 players per team from the nhl during the lockout, if im wrong, oh well it happens.
