St. Louis didn't disappoint this year.

Not very excited about any of the names I'm hearing for gm. I really have this horrible feeling that the Bolts are going become extremely pussified now that Tocchet is gone.

Lawton is an idiot, getting rid of him was a good move, but despite the team seemingly underachieving given all their offensive talent, I'm really not sure Rick Tocchet was to blame for the Lightning's struggles. It's a shame they let him go too, and it really makes you wonder what the future has in store for a guy like Zenon Konopka with a different guy behind the bench.

i can basically echo the sentiments of most of the members by saying sad that Tocchet had to go, hurrah for Lawton getting the boot. Now let's just get someone in there that won't make a mess. Even Steve Downie did pretty well under Tocchets tutelage, he might regress if under someone else.

Former GM Jay Feaster basically made the choice of Richards over Bulin post lockout, and the team has never had a true #1 since. Its mind boggling that we had the 5th and 6th spots in the scoring leaders and couldnt make the playoffs.

The fan in me thinks Konopka earned his roster spot next season, but who knows.

Lawton sucked, Tocchett tried. All I know is Ryan Malone should be finding his way out. Hopefully he can find his way back to the Pens, but that in all likelyhood would be a miracle.
