Leafs Acquire Aaron Voros From Anaheim

His this seasons playing hasnt been the best level as his numbers tells the calm truth but he is that physically guy who can drops down his mitts.
Nice deal but not best one because Voros hasnt played agood hockey this season but on the other hand he gives a tougness for Toronto.

This is pretty much the same as claiming him off waivers, the only way the Ducks get the 7th round pick is if he re-signs in Toronto, which he wont.

I'm a little disappointed he isn't going to get a chance to play for the Leafs. It would be nice to have somebody to help Rosehill while Orr and Brown are injured.

Or not, i am not 100% sure.

7th round pick is conditional on Leafs re-signing Voros which they won't. Esentially he was traded for a bag of pucks.

Ducks didn't want to pay him his $1million salary to play AHL hockey.

Leafs were willing to take him for depth and pay his salary.

It's a conditional pick. The condition is the Leafs have to re-sign him or they don't get the pick.

Voros was on waivers earlier. They could have put him on re-entry but they didn't want to pay half of Voros remaining salary. The Leafs helped the Ducks by taking on the full salary, it worked out for both teams because Toronto has money and they wanted some depth for the rest of the season.

Decent trade for the Marlies. Would be nice to see him up sometime by the end of the season. Probably would be when we are mathematically out of the playoffs.

I don't think it will be long before he is in the Regular Lineup. He is Muscle and thats what Burkie likes. He will replace one of the 4th Liners currently dressed. I don't think he was signed so he could spend his time with the Marlies. Good 4th line when everyone is Healthy would be..
