Kings sign Dustin Brown to 6 year extension

That's a lot of years, but he's turning out alright for them. I'd be curious about the money once it comes out.

this is really good news! the kid has turned out to be a helluva player. doesn't have blazing speed or a true scorers hands, but he'll take whatever's comming to him infront of the net, and will always finish his checks! he'll even fight every now and then!

i'd have to think the money is in the 3-4mil neighborhood, but with it being a 6 year deal, the later years have to be fatter then the first few!

Great move by the Kings. Dustin Brown is one of the biggest hitters in the league, and he also has some good offensive ability. You don't find too many players like that, so yes, he is a gem. This kid will be a great player for the Kings, so good job by them locking him up long-term. He's an exciting player to watch. I bet every team wishes they had a Dustin Brown on their team. Can't go wrong with a guy that can play several roles, so you can't complain with this move either.
