LOS ANGELES – The
Los Angeles Kings have recalled defenseman
Jon Klemm from the
Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League (AHL), Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.
Klemm, 38, has played in six games for the Kings this season, and has zero points and two penalty minutes. He has played in 40 games this season with Manchester, where he has served as captain, and has five points (all assists) and 38 penalty minutes. The 6-2, 205-pound native of Cranbrook, British Columbia, is a veteran of 14 NHL seasons, and he has recorded 142 points (42-100=142) and 428 penalty minutes in 757 career NHL games.
