Kings Recall Brian Boyle
LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have recalled forward Brian Boyle from the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced Friday.
Boyle, 24, has two points (1-1=2) and 18 penalty minutes in 20 games with the Kings this season. In addition, the 6-7, 252-pound native of Hingham, Mass., has 21 points (10-11=21) and 73 penalty minutes in 42 games with the Monarchs this season and he shares the team lead with six power play goals. Boyle, selected by the Kings in the first-round (26th overall) of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, has seven points (5-2=7) and 22 penalty minutes in 28 career NHL games – all with the Kings Link
