Good Signing. He fits real nice on the 3rd line.
Dwight can fight when he wants...his problem is, he is too nice. Hopefully he drops them 6-8 times next year.

It is, I think he is making 750k a season. One of my favorite King players. He is the better hockey player out of the 2, but D.J. was the better fighter.

That would be a stretch. He just isn't mean enough. He reminds me a lot of Taylor Pyatt. A big body and he can fight when the mitts come off he just doesn't have any interest in doing so.

I could see Dwight's load actually hitting the 6-8 fight mark if the Kings stay healthy. Clifford's play took a step backwards and we won't see as much of him with everybody healthy for more depth (plus the possibilty of another forward coming in via Bernier trade of FA). Fourth line might be something like Lewis/Richardson/Fraser most of the year... And more than likely won't see much of Westgarth at all. Dwight might be stuck fighting simply because he's the only big body on the ice to do so!
Great signing either way, the size he and Nolan brought to the team when they were called up was another 'big' piece of the Stanley Cup puzzle. Quick, Sutter, Carter/Johnson trade, elevation of Brown's play, and the callups. They all had their parts. Hope Dwight continues to develop and takes full advantage of his size going forward. Is it hockey season yet? Plus I'll never get sick of his goofy face.
