Kings Cut Four Players
LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have announced the following player transactions:
Returned to Junior Team: Bryan Cameron – C (Belleville – OHL) Matt Fillier – C (Montreal – QMJHL) Geordie Wudrick – LW (Swift Current – WHL) Released from Tryout Agreement: Olivier Legault - LW The Kings have 56 players remaining on their 2008 Training Camp roster (30 forwards, 18 defensemen and eight goaltenders).

The Kings have major goaltending issues, so it makes sense for them to have some healthy competition in camp, but 8 goalies is a bit much. I think it reduces the opportunity for all the guys to get adequate time between the pipes to show what they can do.
