Scott Parse was recalled on Wednesday.

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have recalled forward Scott Parse from the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League and have assigned forward Oscar Moller and Marc-Andre Cliche to the Monarchs, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced Wednesday.

Parse, 25, has played in 48 games with the Kings this season – his first in the NHL - and has 21 points (8-13=21) and 20 penalty minutes. The 5-11, 197-pound native of Portage, Mich., has also played in 14 games with the Monarchs this season and has 15 points (4-11=15), 21 penalty minutes and a plus-11 rating (second on the Monarchs). The Kings selected Parse in the sixth-round (174th overall) in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.

Moller, 21, has played in 34 games with the Kings this season and has recorded seven points (4-3=7) and four penalty minutes. The 5-10, 186-pound native of Stockholm, Sweden, has 19 points (9-10=19), 14 penalty minutes and a plus-9 rating in 26 games with the Monarchs this season.

Cliche, 22, made his NHL debut last night in Dallas, recording zero points and a plus-1 rating in 7:23 of ice time. The 6-0, 198-pound native of Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec has 21 points (10-11=21) and 30 penalty minutes in 50 games with the Monarchs this season.

Scott Parse has been called up from Mancester. Marc-Andre Cliche and Oscar Moller have been assigned to Manchester. Jeff Halpern and Fredrik Modin are expected to be in Nashville tonight and at the morning skate tomorrow. Terry Murray indicated that both players would start out playing fourth-line roles and that he wouldn’t tinker with the other lines right now. Much more to come, and I’m waiting for a call from Dean Lombardi at the moment.
