Pretty sad. Can't have any toughness now can we? Kotso and Conboy are game but come on, who do they think they are, Detroit? 29th out of 30 teams and their eliminating toughness. That'll move em' up the standings real fast.

That's a huge and common misconception. One way or two way deals have no bearing on whether someone is subject to waivers. It's a combination of when you signed your first NHL contract, age, number of games played and how much money you make in the AHL.

Since Harrison is over 25, and signed his first NHL contract over 1 year ago, he has to be waived to be sent down, and since he makes 125K in the AHL, which is obviously over the 105K mark that is the upper limit of AHL salaries that would not be subject to re-entry waivers, he'd have to be put on re-entry waivers to be called up also.

Any chance of somebody picking him up?

If you have injuries on defence, he might be a good band-aid.

WHY? We didn't need to clear a roster spot unless somebody is coming up, or in from somewhere else.

**** this team is in shambles.
