Isles Bailey sent to Bridgeport

Quote:
Bailey, without a point in 13 games, practiced on 4th line yesterday. Capuano hinted at a possible scratch. Didn't see this coming, though

I know he deserved a few games off but him going to Bridgeport is a little too late. Gordon and Snow already bucked this up 2 years ago.

Whatever puts Gillies in the lineup!

That's just the way it's going to go."

I don't know about this move. Bailey has been incredibly unproductive after coming back from his injury earlier this season. But there are multiple guys on this team who have been just as bad without having even had those few games of playing well that he had earlier. I don't mind him being taken out of the lineup that much, but there are other guys I would have scratched before him.

Wow that's pretty unexpected... straight from junior to the NHL and now in his 3rd year he'll have his first stint in the AHL? I don't like it. Production may be slipping but there are other options then sending him down.

He's played 159 NHL games. 1 more game and he would have to go through waivers. That's the sole reason why they did it. They should have sent Comeau and Hunter down, no one would have picked them up, clearly to light a fire under there asses and prove that there has to be some accountability for this POS team.

Well, looks like hunter might be hurt anyway.
