Hello Ray? You might want to bring in some more toughness to protect your franchise player with a bad neck and head.
id throw in simmonds as well, he fights much better then rinaldo lol come on flyers sign TooToo train!

In 3 years the Islanders go from tough, to complete and utter p*ssies, to tough again.

If it wasn't already obvious, I'd ask if Garth Snow was taking medication of some kind.

Fuck, if only the Isles had held onto Haley.

Still, Carkner and Boults... Hell yeah! It appears enforcing is still alive in the NHL.

Good moves by the Isles, protect some of those top 5 overall guys they've drafted with some muscle! Love it! Tavares probably does too!

This one is a bit shocking. But Boulton is welcome on my team anytime. I find it hard to believe he will have a major spot on the team most of the year. Probably will be a call up or dressed when needed.

Boulton probably is a more effective player than Pandolfo and Carkner probably is a better defenseman than Mike Mottau...

Sounds like it

The press generally doesn't use that wording if it's a 2-way.

I like Boulton, and I think he's a better overall player than his non-PIM stat-line suggested from last season. I'm always happy to see the Islanders bring another tough guy into the fold.

But, not to be too much of a downer...this is the Islanders we're talking about. I'm not expecting to see Boulton with anything close to a regular roster spot with the team.

I agree with this. Depending on what else the Isles do in free agency, Boulton and Carkner could be dressing a lot of games, which would be awesome.
