Islanders' Morency Suspended Indefinitely

According to the rules it won't matter if it was a legal line change or not. Morency CLEARLY came off the bench with one thing in mind.

Speaking of pu**ies, why did'nt Diane "girl" up and take on the challenge like an honourable player would. I guess I just answered my own question. Clean hit or not, don't KO people and then refuse to answer the bell.

Thats a touchy subject. I dont necessarily believe that a guy should have to fight for laying someone out with a clean hit. A dirty hit on the other hand, you better be ready to drop the gloves. Its part of the game and it teaches a lesson...dont skate through the middle with your head down.

Getting back on topic...I dont think an indefinitie suspension is called for here.

If he has to be suspended then I'll give him 1-3 games. It's nothing really.

Phanuef doesn't have to answer this. Why should he (one of top d-men for Calgary) fight Morency (who probably won't make the team that was the worst team last season)?

He hits him clean and simple, period. If you don't like it then shut the hell up and watch a figure skating competition .

This isn't indefinite like with Chris Simon where it was a case of "we're trying to decide if we'll ever let you back or not" but more a case of they're going to wait until the hearing to decide how long to suspend Morency for. Considering that nothing really was able to happen after he left the bench, it may be a few games but probably nothing insane, depending on your viewpoint.

I can see your point but to me if your gonna lay out someone(and it was clean)and your challenged(He had to expect it)then I think you answer the bell. Now, if the next time they play he steps up, then I will be happy to stand corrected. Its like throwing inside if your teammate has been hit. Its almost part of the game.

Another thing to consider is that Morency's line clearly wasn't going on the ice next. In fact, Morency was one of the few guys on the bench who was sitting down at the time. The NHL will probably handle this as if he just left the bench to instigate a fight (which is essentially what happened). We'll see.

Oh, and Marty Biron is awesome. He was in the middle of that scrum so fast, haha.

Whats BS here is that Colin Campbell continues to Blacklist Islander Players. Simon, Witt, hell even Tomas Pock for christs sake! It never ends with this guy. He will always give the max to the Islanders when guys go out there and do the same thing and get half the penalty.

yea 3-4 game suspension is deserved no doubt u cant jump the boards to start a fight (even tho it was a borderline legal line change)
