Islanders finally waive Brian Rolston, call up David Ullstrom
There is a god. Next waive Reasoner and get Haley up.

@NYIslanders #Isles confirm David Ullstrom recalled from Bridgeport. Brian Rolston has been placed on waivers.

Thank God! What absolutely great news. I like Ullstrom and all but he's just another soft and small body. Haley really needs to come up. All the fans want him too.

Absolutely. But that's not likely to happen. There is no reason Haley shouldn't be playing.

Just because a guy is on waivers doesn't mean he's going anywhere, even if unclaimed.

Rolston is a good dude but again I just want to thank the Isles organization for taking him and his contract off the Devils hands.

Haley defietley deserves a call to play with the Islanders. But Gillies ?? C'mon fight fans there's very few players on any NHL clubs for him to fight anymore.... they're all in the AHL or scratched!
