Hurricanes Reassign Gillies, Leighton and Sutter

It's to be expected from this f*cking p*ssed out team. I swear Laviolette is allergic to dressing these types of guys. Now don't get me wrong, I couldn't be happier that Boulerice is no longer with us but our 4th line will have an open spot until LaRose gets back sometime in November. This is the perfect opportunity for Gillies, who looked good in limited action, to play. I'd much rather have Gillies out there for the start of the season than Letowski. Gillies is a better player than him, IMO. Also, I thought Brookbank would get a long look as a 7th D-man, since Laviolette likes that sort of thing as well. As far as getting "too many scoring chances", it's not like we knew what to do with them last year when we finished top 10 in the league in that stat. These people down here want to see a track meat, which is all well and good, but you need to promote order to have that. Buffalo was a perfect example of that in the past two seasons. Also, Commodore will fight even less (if that's possible) because he'll be on our top pairing this year. It'll come down to Gleason, Walker, and Adams. It made me sick to see Walker having to stand up to Brashear in that game at the end of last season, simply because no one else on the team had the balls to. Oh, did I mention I'm pissed off?
