I'm surprised they sent down Izzy, and I would have expected Boulerice to at least be kept at the NHL-level as a scratch.

Oh well, I didn't expect them to keep him, as they didn't dress him last year. I was expecting a great Carolina/Pittsburgh game for the Orpik on Cole hit last year but now they have nobody to enforce anyway...

not exactly a tough guy but Christianson speared AO last year, D. Hatcher got after Sid the Kid. Didn't Staal have a fight with Halpren last year?
Not saying that it happens like the old days, but it's still there just in a smaller form.

as for their squad, doubt Commodore will be a regual enforcer or fighter, he's gonna continue to be a physical d-man b/c they can't afford for ANY of the d-men to sit in the box this year.
Walker, well i hope they brought him in for offensive production, b/c the team lost Weight, Recchi, Cullen and Stillman is on the shelf... plus he's coming off surgery from early last year.
