Hurricanes Activate Brookbank; Place Cullen on IR

RALEIGH, NC— Jim Rutherford, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, announced today that forward Wade Brookbank has been activated from injured reserve. Brookbank, who has missed the last five games with a leg injury, is eligible to play in tonight’s game at Florida. Center Matt Cullen, who has missed the past two games with a head injury, was placed on injured reserve.
