We should all bow down in front of Rutherford....ooops, wait, Dougie is still in that position. Crap trade for the BJ's but good riddance to Carter. Coulda got more for him yet again but Dougie never seems to be on the good side of a trade. Salary dump yeah, but you could get more than a dump for him.....duh! Maybe one of their 10 defenders? Or is the CBJ blueline really that solid.

To answer your previous question:
Drafted in 1992 by the Nordiques traded to Washington and played his first NHL games there in 1996/97 traded to Boston that season where he had his longest stint so far signed (I think) by the Oilers in 2000 traded to the Rangers at the deadline in 2002/2003 traded to Washington in 2003/2004 traded to LA at the deadline in 2003/2004 signed in Vancouver in 2005 signed in Columbus in 2006 traded to Carolina He reminds me a little bit of Geoff Sanderson, a decent scorer when playing alongside a good playmaker otherwise pretty much useless, well actually he is even worse then Sanderson who can help a team with his speed and forechecking.

I still laugh at his fight against Buchbergar. I actually thought Bucky was gonna win one.. then it was like Buckwheat came out of the jersey and unloaded on him. then he even gave a toughguy stare like he just blasted someone who was also tough.
