Nobody knows that better than Lapierre! Without a deterrent that little rat is in trouble.

unfortunatly Laps will not get killed this year. He has played without an enforcer for the past 2 seasons and nobody has killed him yet. BGL wasn't detering anyone from going after Laps or any other hab for that matter, plus he wasn't in the lineup a whole lot anyway. Lappiere never hid behind anyone, he hid behind the awful NHL and all thier BULLSH** rules that make it almost impossible for players to enforce and rules that make guys like lappiere, ott, avery, cooke, etc etc etc able to safely run around and act the way they do.

It is pretty unfair to put Avery in with those players he doesnt play a dirty game physically he just runs his mouth, he has not really thrown some dirty hits like Ott and Cooke have. He also has a fair few fights as well

I hope the Sharks stomp this guy into the ice after what he did to Scott Nichol last year. Him and Avery need to have a douche contest.

Pfff... and what do you think of Richards hits ?? Those are OK ? Lapierre is not a dirty player, he just uses his mouth more then his body. He really has a role to play for the habs. But they still a tough guy, Moen... not enough.

Richards' hits are clean, Lapierre's are not.

I think Euro's that are brought here and don't preform and bring nothing to the table is whats wrong with the NHL. I wish Lapierre wasn't such a bitch but players like him can cause brawls and fights hate or love him he's better than a Euro.

When is the last time a player like Lapierre or Patrick Kaleta has caused a brawl? All they do is throw cheapshots and then turtle up once anybody goes near them. How entertaining

Lapierre might as well be a Euro with the way he plays.
