If I had to guess, he probably hadn't already said something to that effect, but from a common sense standpoint, would anyone expect him to re-sign with the Islanders? This is an organization that makes a point to ensure they continue to go absolutely nowhere. And on top of that, a chunk of the remaining fanbase misguidedly decide to blame the guy for all the team's woes on defense. If he continued his level of production, he'd be due for a nice contract with multiple bidders in the offseason. Why wouldn't you want to take your services to just about any other team in the NHL besides the Islanders who have zero commitment to winning? I'm sure Snow, dumb as he is, was aware of that. He probably figured, f*ck showing any sort of commitment to the fanbase, I bettet trade this guy before he falls victim to the epidemic of injuries that happen to the Islanders organization.

as the rest of the team pretty much was except for one fluke goal...

the ghost of goalies past for Montreal has always been looming... Desjardins winning his NHL debut against WHO ELSE? Montreal!

Wis was the offensive catalyst tonight though.

Wisniewski gives about deep for Montreal, good defensive defenseman.
Hoping 5-6 fights by him this season-
