Very good news. Probably wont be official for a couple days, but I trust seward that he did sign.

Now we can hope that he isnt a healthy scratch every damn game...

A one way deal doesn't guarantee he will play more than he did last year. I just means that if he is sent down he will make nhl money as what me and Vodkafish discussed. If he is sent down enough he will eventually be placed on waivers so hopefully he has a good year.

Yeah, but why would they send him down and pay him nhl money?
Best to just keep him up, imo

Hopefully he gets a lot more time at the NHL level. Sadly, all this really guarantees is that he'll at least be a healthy scratch.

Also, seward, was there ever anything to the rumours of Godard going to Vancouver? Or were they just rumours? I sure wish he did go there.

PS: It's really great to have you on the board to give us all this Godard news ahead of time.
