Toronto might be signing Rickard Wallin. I can't find an english version either. Same team as Gustavsson.

Couple guys with potential but like I said I dont see it happening. So might as well put that rumor to rest. I am curious to see what trades Shero has. He apparently is very active trying to make some deals.

From SI.Com Truth and Rumors section:

"Nikolai Zherdev's decision to file for salary arbitration probably means that it will be one-and-done on Broadway for the underachieving winger. As it was, there was debate within the organization whether to qualify Zherdev at the required $3.25 million price tag after his uneven season that frustrated both Tom Renney and John Tortorella."

PLEASE LET THIS BE TRUE!!!

Heatley to the Blue Jackets (e4)

Considering the source is Eklund that means Heatley won't be traded to Columbus.

I just read on another board the Bruins signed Drew Fata.

Can't find a link (from TSN, or the Globe).

Stephane Veilleux is done as a member of the Wild.

Rumor has him signing a deal elsewhere, with the Wild breaking off negotiations.

I understand everyone has their opinion, but what in the world would make you think Ranger is the best dman on the Lightning?

We have easily improved our D with Ohlund, Walker, Hedman, and Foster.

I like Ranger, but the kid can't stay healthy. If we can get something decent in return I would be all for trading him. Not to mention the numbers game just seems as if it is only a matter of time before a defenseman is traded (preferably Krajicek, but obviously Ranger is more valuable).

At the current time, Ranger is the #1 IMO. Walker, Krajicek, Foster aren't even close. Meszaros is decent, Hedman i certainly more valuabl, but it'll take him at least a season, and Ohlund is steady but slightly overrated. Do we have any A level d-men? I don't really think so, I'm not saying he's a stud.
