Dater saying that the Canucks want Grossman back in any deal for Luongo. I'm sure they want more as well.

To be honest, don't think adding Luongo really improves the Flyers all that much, unless they keep Bryz too. Your going to need 2 great goalies to make the playoffs.

i dont want luongo, we have too many other needs. especially defensively. No way id let grossmann go

I think Bryz is going to have a great year this year and that's the vibe a lot of people are having. After a rough start in the K, he became one of the better goalies in the league. something he attributed to not being in shape and up to speed with things when he first got there. He also seems to be a different person aside from the humor according to a lot of beat writers. Says he's figured out Philly etc. Time will tell, but I think he's going to have a good year.

Also, anyone else realize his numbers were the best of any Flyers goalie since the lockout and best numbers since Cechmanek actually? He had a lot of big gaffs but I don't think he's as bad as was made out to be. (And I felt that way before reading the numbers/stats)

KHL and Russia offered Kovy, Malkin, Ovaries, and Datsuk 30 million to stay in Russia. Supposedly they were going to have a press conference announcing this but the NHLPA talked them out of it. - Bob M B.S.

^^^^ Not to burst your bubble but Philly doesnt exactly have the nicest record when it comes to Goalies. Aside from Parent and Hextall a midget goalie could easily be the 3rd best. ^^^^^

That's ridiculous if it's true as the Leafs offered Luke Schenn in return for Luongo back at the draft and the Canucks turned the offer down.

I'm in the camp that hopes the Luongo rumors don't materialize. He wouldn't be any better than Bryz, so why pay both or trade Bryz to make room for Luongo? It just doesn't add up to me, since Holmgren has backed Bryz since he signed him, and is confident Bryz won't be as streaky as he was last season. For whatever reason, so am I.

Somebody took their optimism pills. I hope your right but after last years bi-polar season with great sound bites and not so great goaltending I'm not convinced. I do agree that Luongo is'nt the answer though and no way could the Flyers carry Bryz and Lou for the whole year. The 'Nucks would let him come cheap either so stay the course and see next off season.
