He makes so many predictions he has to be close when **** goes down. I find him famous for posting a trade or such and saying you heard it here first but someone else on my twitter feed nailed it 20 minutes earlier.

Doan seen carrying a Flyers bag when he was out. He was asked is he trying to say somthing, he laughed and said it was his sons bag.. Doesnt mean anything just thought it was funny. But you would think his son would have a Yots bag right? I would still rather Ryan but even Doan would be a nice addition for the right price

Like I said earlier this summer when Dreger started going after all the rumor mongers he destroyed this kid. Also destroyed Eklund and Hockey Break and that was enjoyable as well.

He also does what Hockey Break does and takes info from people who already posted it elsewhere. Like the Doan story was published by Bruce FIRST. Not him.

Easy to be fooled by it if you don't have a ton of hockey writers in your twitter timeline or if you have been away for a while. He also posts a lot of BS. That Doan breakdown in terms of the deal isnt even close. Pens would be paying him more then Geno. I HIGHLY doubt they would do that. Proably an even $6 million across the board. Didn't his one year of the breakdown say $10 million? No one will EVER make more then Sid. Right there you know its BS.

The Rangers? How could they afford another big contract? Would they have to move a couple more guys?

The Rangers are probably the richest team in the NHL or the one with the deepest pockets anyway.

You say this about EVERY SINGLE PLAYER... not every player WANTS to play in Detroit. It may have nothing to do with Ken Holland... get over it

A big part of it has to do with Holland. His pitch on why they should become a red wing, and the contract he offers. He clearly isn't convincing or thinks no one is worth anything and wont offer some $$ to a guy like Semin, Salo, Doan, Carle (they needed a guy like 1 of them) and just low balls them. Hes lost it.

Pretty sure they still have cap space to work with even with Nash's contract added on, and can sign Doan without moving anyone.

They have $11.7 million in cap space. They still have to sign Del Zotto, that's pretty much it.

I'm surprised when I heard that they got Nash and want Doan too...didn't think they have enough $$ but I was wrong when I looked up at Cap Geek website.

The incredible thing is in trading away Dubinsky, Anisimov and Erixon the Rangers actually did not add anything on their cap hit by acquiring Nash. From that standpoint the trade was very smart.

Am I the only one that thinks that this might be a bad move on the part of the Rangers, They are good money wise this year, but what happens next season when the have to sign Ryan McDonagh, Derek Stepan, Carl Hagelin and Michael Sauer. Basically I think that if the have to sign Doan for more than two years, they might screw themselfs down the line, an we all know Doan wants a longer term deal...... Just my point of view, ecspecially when Ryan McDonagh is going to get well north of 5 million a season in his next contract....
