Howson is stupid enough to.

Saw TIOPS said the Pens and Kings had discussions again about Dustin Brown. Kings wanted Kunitz and dman (most likely Niskanen, Lovejoy, or Engo). Obviously a deal the Pens were just not going to do. Then again who knows how legit it is.

Not sure how many people saw Ryan Miller say he was very upset that Gaustad got traded. I wonder if he will still be there by draft day...

Just amazed some of the value that guys were getting yesterday.

The Wild is expected to sign Finnish forward Mikael Granlund, but won't be able to until the conclusion of the World Championship tournament in late May. General Manager Chuck Fletcher has also indicated that the team may attempt to sign 2010 second round pick Jason Zucker upon the conclusion of his sophomore season at the University of Denver.

Didn't see that. It was a matter of time I guess. He's been dynamite since coming to Saint John

Derek Dorsett didn't make the trip to St. Louis with the team.. They will be calling up someone in the morning and sounds like it'll be either Bass or Byers.

It is Byers who got the call.

Look for a deal in the near future for '10 1st rounder Riley Sheahan

Quote:
Center Riley Sheahan, the Detroit Red Wings' top pick in the 2010 NHL entry draft, is on the verge of turning pro.

The 20-year-old Sheahan, a junior at Notre Dame, has left school and signed an amateur tryout contract with the American Hockey League's Grand Rapids Griffins – the Red Wings' top-minor league affiliate.

He is expected to join the Griffins for Thursday's game in San Antonio. In the meantime, he continues contract negotiations with the Red Wings.

Sounds like Duncan will be sitting for possibly the rest of the regular season. That's Matt Cooke territory.

Kyper is saying 5+, based on recent suspensions I would say he gets 8 and I have no idea how many games the Hawks have left but its proably 10 or less.

not sure because I read an article (either hockey news or scorenet) saying that the hearing will be over the phone instead of in person. So that means it'll be 5 games or less. I'm not 100% positive though.

Def deserves the suspension. Dumb play.
